My highest recommendation for "Prairie Glade Chihuahuas".
I spent a couple of months looking for the right chihuahua for me in the price range of $500-$10,000. I found many scams and unattractive looking puppies with bad tear stained eyes and suspected puppy mills. I also found wonderful breeders on Face Book sites, AKC, and Internet sites.
My two chihuahuas died last year and I was beyond grief and depression. My husband begged/insisted that we get another chihuahua to fill the immense void in our lives
I knew I would be very hard to please, considering the great loss of my two fur babies that were my life. I wanted all health issues to be addressed to hopefully prevent future problems. I would spare no expense in getting another "child", as I always felt that one will pay out the money in the long run. Either you pay up front and get a quality baby, or you spend it later with vets in the future with health issues, with grief and worry.
I found Stormy Szenasy through luck, guardian angels, persistence and hours on the internet. I then sent emails and texts asking many many questions and she responded to everyone. I will admit that I was a nuisance and a pain in the 'neck', but she never treated me that way. She always sent me photos as my baby grew, even a few videos to show her playing. I saw my baby sleeping in her arms, as calm as could be. With the video, I could see that my baby was socialized, paper trained, happy, and very pretty with bright clear eyes and no tear stains.
I found her to be very honest, warm and loving to her babies, friendly, sweet and a pleasure to work with. Some people might think her babies prices can run a little high but I felt they are well worth the price. Quality puppies don't come cheap and my baby is worth twice what I paid, even my Vet fell in love wit her!
My husband and I drove from Seattle to OK and back home as I didn't want her to fly on a plane as she only weighed 1 pound at 12 weeks.
I can't say enough how happy my husband and I are with Stormy Szenasy in OK.
